This Privacy Policy explains how StreamCoreVPN (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and VPN services (the “Services”).
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and an encrypted/hashed password.
- Subscription information: plan selected, subscription status, and provisioning status.
- VPN configuration data: VPN profile files (e.g.,
.ovpn) generated for your subscription and any additional VPN users you create. - Service diagnostics: operational logs and error messages needed to provision the VPN service and troubleshoot issues (e.g., failed provisioning, service health checks).
- Support communications: information you provide when you contact support.
VPN service, dedicated server, and dedicated connection
When you purchase a VPN plan, we allocate a dedicated VPN server (your “Connection Host”) for your subscription. Your VPN profile(s) are generated specifically for you and are configured to connect to that dedicated server.
- Dedicated VPN server: your subscription is assigned a specific VPN server endpoint (hostname/IP) used for your connection.
- Dedicated connection / bandwidth: your plan includes a dedicated network connection capacity on your allocated VPN server.
- Additional VPN users: if you add family/friends profiles, each one has its own VPN profile and client certificate, but they connect to your dedicated VPN server.
Note: regenerating a VPN profile (or rebuilding the VPN server) may invalidate older profiles. Always download and use the latest profile file provided in your portal.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account and subscription.
- To provision and operate your dedicated VPN server and generate VPN profiles.
- To provide customer support and respond to requests.
- To secure the Services, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Sharing of information
We may share information only as necessary to provide the Services, for example:
- Service providers that help us run the Services (e.g., hosting, email delivery), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements if we must comply with applicable law, lawful requests, or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention
We keep account, subscription, and VPN configuration data for as long as needed to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations. We may retain limited diagnostic records for security and troubleshooting.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information. To request help, please contact us via the Support page.
